In support of strengthening operational readiness and ensuring the successful implementation of national strategic defense programs, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia conducted the Task Force (Satgas) Briefing for the Submarine Rescue Vessel System (SRVS) and Mothership Development Program from 18 to 22 May 2026.
This activity represents an integral part of the SRVS and Mothership Development Program and was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Defence (MoD), the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL), the Seaworthiness Team, Classification Society, as well as other relevant parties involved in the planning and development process.
Throughout the program, participants received comprehensive briefings covering technical, regulatory, and operational aspects delivered by subject matter experts. In addition, the forum served as a platform for strategic discussions that generated key inputs, emphasis points, and recommendations deemed essential for evaluation and follow-up actions across the stages of design, construction, supervision, and certification of both the SRVS system and its supporting mothership.

Overall, the Task Force briefing provided constructive contributions to support the successful implementation of the SRVS and Mothership Development Program, particularly in the following key areas:
Seaworthiness and certification
Quality assurance
Occupational health and safety
Operational readiness
Design refinement
Harmonization of technical and operational requirements
Several technical aspects requiring further in-depth analysis will be addressed through continued technical coordination with relevant stakeholders in accordance with project requirements.
Through this initiative, it is expected that all involved parties will achieve a shared understanding, strengthened synergy, and an integrated commitment toward the successful delivery of both the SRVS system and the mothership, contributing to the enhancement of national submarine rescue capabilities.
